Buckton Fields

Ensign Group submitted an outline planning application for Buckton Fields to Daventry District Council in November 2007 after undertaking a pre-application public consultation programme on its proposals for the site.

The application was registered by Daventry District Council in December 2007 and is available for members of the public to view at the Council's website.

During January 2008, the application was subject to a formal, 21-day consultation process during which members of the public could feed back their comments on the plans. The Council’s Planning Committee will take all relevant feedback into account when making its decision.

To help assist with the timely delivery of housing in and around Northampton, Ensign Group Ltd has submitted an outline planning application for Buckton Fields East – an area of land that sits within the boundaries of the wider Buckton Fields site adjacent to Harborough Road North.

The application has been registered by Daventry District Council (DA/2008/0500) and is available for members of the public to view at the Council's website.

The registered application will now be subject to a formal, 21-day consultation process during which members of the public are invited to feed back their comments to Daventry District Council. The Council’s Planning Committee will take all relevant feedback into account when making its decision.

Already aware of key issues raised by members of the public in relation to its proposed development of the wider Buckton Fields site, Ensign committed to undertake further public consultation specifically relating to the proposals for the Buckton Fields East site. This took place between November 2007 and January 2008 and included a public exhibition on 12 December that was attended by approximately 250 people. This programme of consultation has now closed.
